Some of Australia’s biggest names in television and film are heading to the Northern Rivers, with Screenworks locking in a packed lineup for this year’s Regional to Global forum.
The annual event returns to Lennox Head this September, bringing together more than 60 speakers across two days of panels, roundtables and networking designed to connect regional screen practitioners with broadcasters, commissioners, producers and some of Australia’s leading creative voices.
AACTA nominated actress Teresa Palmer will headline a Career Spotlight session reflecting on her work across film and television, while Top End Bub co creator Miranda Tapsell will join fellow creators to discuss the success of the acclaimed regional comedy series.

The program also features sessions with commissioners and executives from ABC, SBS, NITV, Foxtel Group and Stan, alongside conversations exploring writers’ rooms, television development and the future of Australian storytelling.
This year’s forum will also introduce the inaugural Screenworks Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising an outstanding contribution to the Australian screen industry.
Screenworks CEO Lisa Rose said this year’s program reflected the strength of Australia’s screen industry while creating opportunities for meaningful connections across the sector.

Regional to Global takes place in Lennox Head on 9 and 10 September, with tickets on sale now and single day passes to be released from 25 August.
