Twenty-five years of marriage called for a celebration as meaningful as the journey itself, and ahead of their Silver Jubilee milestone, Ajay and Radhika brought together their loved ones for a memorable two-day pre Silver Jubilee celebration at ITC Grand Bharat, Delhi NCR. Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Dexterity Events, every experience reflected the couple’s philosophy of celebrating love through togetherness rather than tradition. Thoughtfully curated hospitality, immersive décor and personalised experiences transformed the occasion into a heartfelt gathering where family and friends were at the centre of every moment. From rejuvenating spa sessions and leisurely swims to a 24-hour chai station and a Kashmir Fruits counter that remained open throughout the festivities, every thoughtful detail ensured guests felt truly cared for.
The festivities began with a vibrant carnival-themed welcome lunch that instantly set a joyful tone. Designed in a palette of cheerful hues, the space was filled with whimsical details that evoked the nostalgia of a classic fairground. Interactive performances kept guests engaged as characters changed throughout the afternoon, while live music created a relaxed backdrop for conversations. Carnival games, artisanal sweets, nostalgic imli treats, interactive food stations and thoughtfully curated giveaways added to the celebratory atmosphere, making it an afternoon that balanced playful energy with warm hospitality.
As evening descended, the mood shifted dramatically for ‘Laal Ishq’, a glamorous Bollywood-inspired celebration of Ajay and Radhika’s enduring romance. The venue unfolded in rich shades of crimson, where grand floral arches, cascading red blooms and illuminated AR LED initials created a striking first impression. Candlelit lounges, mirrored accents and luxurious décor added a cinematic elegance, while the dining space shimmered beneath a canopy of fairy lights that mirrored a starlit sky. A high-energy live performance by Taqdeer Collective seamlessly gave way to an energetic DJ set, ensuring the celebrations continued well into the night.
The following afternoon embraced a lighter, carefree spirit with a Hawaiian-themed pool party that transported guests to a tropical paradise. Bursting with vibrant florals including Bird of Paradise, orchids, hibiscus, anthuriums, dragon flowers and heliconias, the décor was layered with woven textures, swaying palms and playful accents of pineapples and coconuts. Tropical arches framed the entrance, while a beautifully styled coconut water station quickly became a favourite gathering spot. Nature added its own charm as cool breezes and a gentle drizzle lent the celebration an authentic island feel. Personalised hats, sunglasses, pouches, T-shirts and charms, alongside live caricature artists, tarot readers, colourful parrots and interactive games, ensured every corner of the afternoon offered a new experience.
For the grand finale, the celebrations embraced a more intimate rhythm with an elegant Sufi Night. Inspired by regal Persian influences, the setting featured a sophisticated palette of emerald greens, peacock blues, antique golds and soft silver. Persian rugs, glowing lanterns and peacock-inspired décor created an atmosphere of understated luxury that encouraged guests to slow down and savour the evening. Ashwani Basoya’s soulful performance filled the space with warmth and nostalgia, bringing everyone together for one final celebration of not just a marriage, but a lifetime of friendship, resilience and unwavering companionship.
The celebrations concluded with a leisurely farewell breakfast, where warm embraces and lingering conversations marked the perfect end to an extraordinary weekend. Ajay and Radhika’s pre-Silver Jubilee celebration beautifully reflected that milestone anniversaries are not simply about commemorating the years gone by, but about creating new memories with the people who have been part of the journey all along.
