Ticker News has announced the launch of Buying Power, a new weekly program focused on helping young professionals and investors navigate the Australian property market and build sustainable, long-term wealth.
Sponsored by Right Property Group, Buying Power is hosted by renowned property strategists Victor and Reshmi Kumar.
The program will cut through the often-conflicting property headlines and provide practical information for people looking to enter the market, use their borrowing power effectively and scale an investment portfolio.
Buying Power will explore strategies including rentvesting, unlocking equity, selecting high-growth locations, manufacturing equity, balancing cash flow and capital growth, and moving into commercial property.
“At a time when so many young professionals are being told that property ownership is moving further out of reach, we want to show people that there are still opportunities available when they have the right strategy,” said Reshmi Kumar.
“Buying Power is about helping people look beyond the next purchase and start thinking about the life they want to create over the next decade. Property should be part of a considered financial plan rather than an emotional or impulsive decision.”

Victor Kumar said the program would give viewers clear and practical guidance they could apply to their own property journey.
“There is an enormous amount of noise surrounding property, interest rates and affordability, and that can leave investors unsure about what to do next,” he said.
“We are excited to bring Buying Power to Ticker and help viewers understand how borrowing power, property selection, finance structures and long-term planning can work together. You do not need to predict every movement in the market, but you do need a strategy.”
The first four episodes of Buying Power establish a roadmap for professionals looking to build wealth through property.
The premiere episode, Design Your Decade, examines how investors can move beyond individual purchases and develop a property portfolio aligned with their goals for the next ten years.
The second episode focuses on finance and property selection, including borrowing power, leverage, serviceability, growth indicators and identifying locations with the potential to outperform.
Episode three explores modern entry strategies, including rentvesting, unlocking equity and creating flexibility for investors who may not be able to purchase a home in the location where they currently want to live.
The fourth episode moves into advanced strategies, examining how investors can manufacture equity, add value, structure their portfolios and consider higher-yield opportunities such as commercial property.
Ticker founder and CEO Ahron Young said Buying Power continued the network’s strong history of producing property and investment programming.
“Property is one of the most important topics for Australians, and Ticker has a long history of creating programs that help viewers better understand the market and make more informed decisions,” Young said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Victor and Reshmi Kumar to the network. Buying Power complements our other investment, business and finance programs and strengthens Ticker as a destination where investors, particularly young professional investors, can access experienced voices and practical advice.”
Buying Power will air every Thursday on the Ticker News TV channel and will also be available through the Ticker app, Ticker’s website and its social media platforms.
