The unlikely detective duo of Janie and John are back on the case, with the second season of Death Valley now streaming on BritBox in Australia.
The Welsh comedy crime drama serves up more quirky mysteries, offbeat humour and small town whodunnits across six new episodes.
Season 2 arrives in Australia after premiering on the BBC in the UK in May, following a first season that delivered one of British television’s biggest overnight audiences for a new scripted series in five years.

Picking up several months after the events of the first season, Janie, played by Gwyneth Keyworth, has been promoted to Detective Inspector and finds herself buried in paperwork while keeping her distance from retired actor turned amateur sleuth John, played by Timothy Spall.
It is not long before the pair are forced to put their differences aside as another string of unusual cases unfolds across Mid Wales.
Produced by Nikki Wilson for BBC Studios, the six part second season also sees Alexandria Riley, Rithvik Andugula and Steffan Rhodri return, with Taskmaster favourite Roisin Conaty among this season’s guest stars.
