A woman is critically injured after being dragged from a house fire on the NSW mid north coast.
Emergency services were called to Prince James Ave in Coffs Harbour about 10.30pm on Friday after reports a split-level house was engulfed in flames.
Police said two officers rushed into the home through a laundry door and dragged a 55-year-old woman outside.

Paramedics treated her for serious burns before she was taken to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital.
She has since been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a critical but stable condition.
Police said the woman’s 57-year-old brother was able to escape the burning home and is being treated for burns to his feet and smoke inhalation at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
“At this time, it’s believed the fire may have been accidental, starting in the bedroom,” police said.
“However, the scene will be examined (Saturday) morning by scene of crime officers and Fire and Rescue NSW specialists.”
Anyone with information or footage is asked to contract police.
Investigations are continuing.
