Perth Glory have secured the future of Ninja A-League head coach Stephen Peters, with the club confirming the 47-year-old has signed a two-year contract extension.
Peters will enter a third season in charge of Glory after overseeing significant improvement during his first two campaigns at the helm, with Perth finishing just four points outside the top six in 2025/26.
Before arriving in the west, Peters enjoyed a successful spell with Macarthur Rams in the NSW NPL Women’s competition, leading the club to three consecutive championships between 2022 and 2024.

“To be given the task of coaching this club in the first instance was a huge honour,” Peters said, after inking his new deal.
“And to then be going into a third season in charge fills me with immense pride.
“For the club to see the progression of the team and put the faith in me to continue to carry this team forward is something I don’t take lightly and I want to repay that faith with a top-six finish.

Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis believes Peters is the right coach to build on the club’s progress.
“We’ve seen a strong level of progress since Stephen was appointed in 2024,” he said.
“And we look forward to seeing that continue over the next two years.
“Our playing group continues to develop and improve under his leadership and having come so close last year, the target now is to go that step further and secure Finals football.
“We are excited to have Stephen at the helm again and to see what the new ALW season will bring.”
