The Cambridge Police Department is looking to identify an electric scooter rider who allegedly caused serious injury to a 9-year-old in a hit-and-run crash.
The crash occurred on Vassar Street, with the electric scooter rider wearing a teal green shirt and black basketball shorts, according to Cambridge police. The date and time of the crash were not immediately released.
The rider is a white male who had his hair in a bun and appears to have a face tattoo, police said.
Cambridge police are encouraging anyone with information to contact the CPD Traffic Unit at 617-349-3300. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the CPD website.
