Southern Cross Media Group on Monday appointed former Mamamia CEO and Seven West Media executive Natalie Harvey to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer, with the appointment resulting in the departure of current Chief Commercial Officer Seb Rennie.
Harvey will join the business in September, reporting directly to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Rohan Lund. The newly created role forms part of Southern Cross Media Group’s new operating model following its integration with Seven’s television business, with Harvey leading the company’s national commercial strategy across its combined television, audio and publishing assets.

The appointment marks a return to the Seven/Southern Cross commercial operation for Harvey, who served as National Sales Director at Seven West Media before joining Mamamia as Chief Revenue Officer in early 2024. She was promoted to Chief Executive Officer just months later and has led the independent publisher since.
Lund said Harvey’s experience across both publisher and agency sectors made her the right person to lead SCA’s next phase of commercial growth.
“Natalie brings an extraordinary depth of media experience and a proven track record across both publisher and agency sectors,” he said.
“Her exceptional skill set in building digital commercial businesses, paired with her deep expertise across television, audio and publishing platforms, makes her the ideal leader to unlock the full potential of our combined strengths.”
Harvey said she was looking forward to joining the business at a pivotal time.
“What really excites me about the role is the combination of trusted brands, talented people and a clear ambition for the future,” she said.
As part of the restructure, Chief Commercial Officer Seb Rennie will leave SCA. Rennie confirmed his departure earlier today in a post shared on LinkedIn, saying his role had been impacted by changes to the company’s operating model.
During his tenure, Rennie led SCA’s commercial division through a period of significant change, overseeing the company’s audio sales business while strengthening relationships with clients and agency partners.
