Footage has captured the moment Adelaide Crows star Josh Worrell allegedly struck a pedestrian as he awaits his day in court.
In a video obtained by 7NEWS, the 25-year-old defender can be seen driving a Hilux when he allegedly hit a 29-year-old man crossing Port Road on the way to training at West Lakes on Friday morning.

The vision allegedly captured Worrell colliding with the man then pulling up on the curb and getting out of his car before driving the victim, who suffered a head wound, to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Worrell has been reported by police for aggravated driving without due care and failing to present to police within 90 minutes.
The first charge carries a maximum penalty of 12 months’ imprisonment, while the second can result in up to 15 years in jail depending on the seriousness of the injury suffered.
Worrell is yet to face court and has not entered a plea over the charges.
Given a high-profile person is involved, the police commissioner would usually be briefed on the matter.
But in a rare twist, SA police chief Grant Stephens has been left out of the loop regarding Worrell because it presents a conflict of interest, given he is also on the Crows’ board.
“I have not been briefed on the Josh Worrell circumstance. That is a matter of being oversighted by the deputy commissioner,” Stephens said.
“Any circumstances relating to the Adelaide Football Club, there are very careful considerations as to whether I’m briefed or not.”

The Adelaide Football Club says it cannot comment on the matter now that legal proceedings are underway, but confirmed it has no problems with Worrell playing against the Swans on Friday night.
He will be summoned to face court at a later date.
Adelaide issued a brief statement acknowledging the police update.
“Given the matter is now subject to legal proceedings, the club is not in a position to provide any further detail,” the Crows said.
Worrell was still “working through” the fallout from the accident this week, Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks said on Tuesday.
“It been a pretty challenging few days for Josh,” Nicks said.
“But we’re just doing whatever we can to support him through that.”
