Noah Kahan’s Boston experience keeps getting better: After a historic run of four straight sellouts at Fenway Park, New England musician Noah Kahan’s recent Boston experience was seemingly at its peak.
Then, he did something that many local golfers are in perpetual pursuit of: Hit a hole-in-one.
Posted to his social media on Monday evening, Kahan shared a video of the aftermath of what he said was an ace.
“Hole in one, hole 11, Boston Golf Club,” Kahan explained, adding with characteristic humor that it had been hit with a five iron.
“Let’s f****** go,” Kahan exclaimed, holding the ball aloft.
“I can’t believe that just happened.”
Note: Kahan uses some stronger language in the video.
Trivia: The local golf scene has enjoyed some recent high points. Can you recall who won the 2022 U.S. Open when it was held “The Country Club” in Brookline?
(Answer at the bottom.)
Hint: He won the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2013 that was coincidentally also held in Brookline, though he is originally from Sheffield, England.
Scores and schedules:
Legacy FC have the only near-term scheduled matchup. They will play the Pride in Orlando on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Red Sox will be back in action following the All-Star break on Friday on the road against the Rays.
Tonight, the MLB All-Star Game will take place in Philadelphia at 8 p.m.
More from Boston.com:
Jordan Walker’s night: The Cardinals outfielder overcame hometown favorite Kyle Schwarber (and a loud Philadelphia crowd) in dramatic fashion.
On this day: In 1956, Red Sox left-hander Mel Parnell threw a no-hitter in a 4-0 win over the White Sox.
Daily highlight: The Celtics fell short in Summer League action on Monday night, but this put-back dunk from 2026 first-round pick Chris Cenac Jr. is still worth another watch.
Trivia answer: Matt Fitzpatrick
