Stan announced that the brand new six-part comedy docu-series Bridey Drake: Pure Average, will premiere on August 10, only on Stan. The series offers a hilarious and deeply personal look into success, self-worth, and the beautiful chaos of being anything but perfect.
Led by one of social media’s most magnetic and authentic voices, Bridey Drake: Pure Average offers audiences unprecedented access to the influencer behind the screen, revealing the highs, lows, and hilariously unpredictable moments that have shaped her extraordinary journey—from an average outback girl to the founder of a global pyjama empire.
From major career milestones and sold-out fan events, to family adventures, business expansion, conservation projects, and deeply personal reflections, Bridey explores identity, belonging, and what success really means.
Featuring a cast of some of Australia’s favourite digital creators with a combined following of 15 million including Jiny Maeng, Michael Drake, Yulina Collins, Soraya Duggan, and Jimmy Horton, the series is, at its heart, a love letter to individuality and self-acceptance—celebrating the beauty of being unapologetically yourself in a world increasingly obsessed with perfection.
Executive Director, Entertainment Content Acquisitions, Streaming & Broadcast Nine, Cailah Scobie said:
“We are thrilled to bring Bridey Drake: Pure Average to Stan. Bridey Drake is an absolute powerhouse whose authentic, unfiltered perspective is exactly what audiences are craving right now.”
“What she and Danielle have built sets a new benchmark for creator-led storytelling, and CheekyMac Productions has delivered a series that is as hilarious as it is deeply human.”
“It’s a groundbreaking docu-series that celebrates individuality, and we can’t wait to share all episodes with our viewers next month.”

Bridey Drake said:
“People usually just see the polished highlight reel. What I wanted this series to show is the real, awkward, beautifully messy stuff—the mistakes, the anxiety, the big wins, the people I love, and the exact journey that got me here.”
“If it helps even one young person feel a little less alone or a little more comfortable being their weird, wonderful self, then that’s what matters most.”
Co-Creator, Writer, Director, and Producer Danielle McAlpine Johnson said:
“What makes Bridey’s journey so compelling is that she opens the door to massive global conversations shaping an entire generation.”
“Themes of belonging, mental health, female entrepreneurship, body image, and neurodiversity resonate far beyond social media. We wanted to create something deeply human, vulnerable, and inspiring—but above all else, incredibly funny and real.”
Through laughter, vulnerability, and a refreshingly honest lens on modern success, this groundbreaking series invites audiences to discover that being “average” might just be the most extraordinary thing of all.
Bridey Drake: Pure Average is a CheekyMac Productions series. The series is co-created by Bridey Drake and Danielle McAlpine Johnson, who also serves as writer, director, and producer. Aaron Harvey serves as co-writer. Executive Producers are Bridey Drake, Lisa Drake, and Anton Bekker.
New series Bridey Drake: Pure Average premieres August 10, all episodes at once, and only on Stan.
