The Celtics signed guard Ron Harper Jr. to a multi-year contract, according to a news release from the team.
According to Spotrac, the deal is worth up to $13.7 million over four years.
The 6-foot-5-inch, 233-pound guard played in 29 games for the Celtics this season, making three starts during the regular-season. He averaged 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds.
He also started Game 7 of the Celtics’ first-round series against Philadelphia after the team decided that Jayson Tatum was not available to play.

Harper Jr. averaged 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 18 games with the Maine Celtics this past season, earning third-team All-NBA G-League honors. He was also selected for the Castrol Rising Stars challenge at NBA All-Star weekend.
He is the older brother of Spurs guard Dylan Harper. Their father, Ron Harper, played 15 years in the NBA and won five titles as a member of the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.
The trio teamed up in the Kia Shooting Stars challenge, where Team Harper finished third.
Harper Jr. played four years at Rutgers and went undrafted in 2022. He has since played in 40 NBA games. He posted 27 points, seven rebounds, and four assists when the Celtics’ reserves beat the playoff-bound Magic during the last game of the 2026 regular-season.
