An 18-Day Wedding Celebration That Transformed Every Event Into a World of Its Own

Planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – House of prasang , this Rajkot wedding unfolded over 14 days as an extraordinary celebration of culture, fashion, family, and storytelling. Every event was envisioned as a completely distinct experience, transporting guests from the mystical landscapes of Vrindavan and the grandeur of South Indian temple traditions to couture-inspired runway showcases, Met Gala glamour, nostalgic family memories, and high-energy Bollywood spectacles. Months of meticulous planning, creative collaboration, and immersive design transformed each celebration into a world of its own.

The scale of the celebration was as remarkable as its creativity. Of the 18 events, 14 were conceptualised, designed, and executed by House of prasang in collaboration with teams from Gujarat, Delhi, Rajasthan, and across India over a three-month planning period. Spanning multiple venues and nearly 300 days of preparation, the celebrations involved extensive structural fabrication, custom décor production, large-scale hospitality operations, and intricate technical planning. More than 15,000 guests were hosted across the wedding journey, with over 9,400 room nights managed across multiple hotels, dedicated celebrity movement teams, customised guest services, and seamless transportation logistics. Fashion played an equally significant role, with over 1,300 custom-designed garments created for the family, supported by stylists, jewellery assistance teams, and dedicated beauty spaces. From immersive entertainment featuring international artists, choreographers, dancers, and models to thoughtfully curated guest experiences that included themed help desks, children’s zones, concierge services, and bespoke hospitality touches, every detail reflected the extraordinary scale and ambition behind the celebrations.

Reflecting on the journey, Keyur Patel of House of prasang shares, “The family wanted every event to feel completely different from the last. Our focus was on creating experiences that were visually distinct while staying emotionally connected to the family’s story.”

Radha Krishna Leela
The festivities began with a spectacular tribute to the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna. Inspired by Mohe Panghat Pe Chhed Gayo Nandalal, the event transformed a sprawling lawn into an immersive recreation of Vrindavan, complete with moonlit pathways, temple-inspired architecture, water features, and theatrical performances. Guests journeyed through a series of experiential zones before arriving at a grand amphitheatre-style arena where storytelling, choreography, live performances, and LED visuals came together in a mesmerising production that set the tone for everything that followed.

Satkar E Pariwar
Inspired by Dior couture and European soirées, Satkar E Pariwar offered a softer, contemporary contrast to the opening celebration. A palette of dusty rose, lilac, peach, and ivory defined the décor, while fluid architectural installations, cascading florals, and crystal chandeliers created an atmosphere of understated elegance. International ballerinas, couture-inspired styling, and thoughtfully designed lounges made the evening feel intimate despite its scale.

Ghar Ke Log
Hosted at the family residence, Ghar Ke Log embraced the charm of an English-inspired candlelit soirée. Thousands of candles illuminated the venue, creating a warm and inviting setting for family and close friends. Live cello performances, karaoke sessions, and relaxed conversations transformed the evening into a heartfelt gathering that celebrated togetherness over spectacle.

Yaado Ki Mehfil
Rooted in nostalgia and family legacy, Yaado Ki Mehfil brought generations together through music, memories, and meaningful storytelling. Family portraits and ancestral photographs welcomed guests into an atmosphere defined by warm lighting, elegant lounges, and timeless melodies. A live orchestra and jazz performances added to the evening’s charm, creating one of the most emotionally resonant celebrations of the wedding.

Mehendi
The Mehendi celebration blended Arabian elegance, Egyptian grandeur, Roman architecture, and Moroccan luxury into a richly layered experience. Guests entered through dramatic passageways before discovering Arabian-inspired lounges, Roman-style scenic elements, and a Moroccan dining space. Performances by Amyra Dastur and Vaani Kapoor added energy to the evening, while the bride and groom’s marketplace-inspired entry became one of the standout moments of the event.

Sanskriti Ramzat
Sanskriti Ramzat celebrated India’s rich cultural diversity through music, dance, and storytelling. The evening featured regional performances inspired by Gujarati, Kutchi, Rajasthani, South Indian, and Mughal traditions, brought together through elaborate staging and theatrical production. Celebrity appearances by Mouni Roy, Shama Sikander, and Raashi Khanna added to the spectacle, while traditional folk elements ensured the celebration remained rooted in heritage.

Haldi
A vibrant village-inspired atmosphere set the stage for the Haldi celebration. Interactive performers, colourful décor, celebrity appearances, and a playful rickshaw entry created an energetic mood from the outset. As the evening progressed, flower showers, music, and spirited family participation transformed the ceremony into a joyous celebration filled with colour and laughter.

Kalyanam Vedika
Inspired by South Indian temple architecture and ceremonial traditions, Kalyanam Vedika embraced spirituality through thoughtful design and cultural authenticity. Kathakali performers, traditional drummers, intricate mandap detailing, floral rangolis, and temple-inspired décor created a serene and sacred atmosphere that beautifully balanced grandeur with devotion.

The Wedding
The wedding itself unfolded at a purpose-built venue spread across nearly one lakh square feet, designed around a lakefront mandap, a Palm Jumeirah-inspired pathway, and a monumental dome structure. Rather than competing with the venue’s architecture, the décor enhanced it through rich jewel tones, traditional textiles, and artistic references inspired by the works of Ramesh Gorjala.

One of the most striking features was the Palm Jumeirah-inspired pathway stretching across the water towards the mandap. It later became the route for the bride and groom’s grand entry, transforming architecture into a storytelling element. The central dome evolved throughout the day, functioning first as a backstage space and later as a dramatic ceremonial entrance. Elevated lounges, temple-inspired detailing, a Kuldevi installation, and a spectacular water projection show added further layers to the experience.
The result was a wedding that felt deeply traditional yet visually contemporary, where architecture, artistry, rituals, and emotion came together seamlessly.

Jal Tarang
Following the wedding, Jal Tarang introduced a completely different mood with an exclusive techno-inspired after-party designed for a close circle of VIP guests. Moody lighting, immersive visual effects, laser-lit entrances, and international performances transformed the venue into a luxury nightlife destination. The event’s sophisticated atmosphere felt more akin to an exclusive music festival than a conventional wedding celebration.

Gucci Café – Jalsa Kar Function
Inspired by luxury fashion cafés and international lounge culture, the Jalsa Kar Function embraced the glamour of a Gucci-inspired social evening. Fashion-forward décor, elegant floral styling, designer-inspired lounges, and live entertainment created an atmosphere that felt stylish, youthful, and effortlessly sophisticated. Performances by Claudia Ciesla and Elnaaz Norouzi added to the evening’s vibrant energy.

Holi – Kab Hai Holi, Ab Hai Holi!
Inspired by the traditions of Barsana and Mathura, the Holi celebration combined floral abundance, cultural performances, and festive energy. Guests were welcomed by performers dressed in traditional attire, while flower showers, folk music, and interactive entertainment recreated the joyful spirit of Holi. A Radha-Krishna-inspired entry and a spectacular shower of flower petals became some of the most memorable moments of the evening.

Mela Mahotsav Utsav
Mela Mahotsav Utsav transformed a residential lawn into a vibrant Tropical Masquerade carnival. Oversized masks, bold colours, immersive installations, aerial acts, and carnival-inspired performances created an atmosphere that felt playful yet luxurious. The event encouraged interaction and exploration, ensuring guests discovered something new at every turn.

Retro
Retro reimagined nostalgia through the lens of old Hollywood glamour. Inspired by vintage cinema and award-show aesthetics, the celebration featured dramatic lighting, grand passages, personalised AI-generated movie posters, and glamorous stage design. Guests embraced the theme through retro-inspired fashion, while performances by Jacqueline Fernandez, Sophie Choudry, and Tanishk Bagchi brought the cinematic atmosphere to life.

Hum Saath Saath Hain
Among the most personal events of the wedding was Hum Saath Saath Hain, a celebration dedicated to family memories and childhood nostalgia. The venue recreated the neighbourhood where the family had grown up, complete with familiar landmarks, local vendors, and meaningful references from their early years.
The result felt less like a wedding function and more like a journey through cherished memories, reminding guests that behind every grand celebration lies a lifetime of shared experiences and relationships.

Paridhan Utsav
Fashion took centre stage at Paridhan Utsav, a couture-inspired runway showcase that celebrated style across generations. Designed as a large-scale fashion production, the event featured a dramatic runway, theatrical reveals, and multiple themed fashion segments involving family members and celebrities alike.
Celebrities including Huma Qureshi, Karishma Tanna, Esha Gupta, Nikita Dutta, and Wamiqa Gabbi joined the showcase, while choreography, storytelling, and couture styling transformed the evening into an immersive fashion experience that felt closer to a luxury fashion week presentation than a wedding event.

Met Gala – Women’s Night
Created as a tribute to the women of the family, this Met Gala-inspired evening combined fashion, glamour, and meaningful family moments. Hosted at the family residence, the celebration featured Roman-inspired architecture, couture-influenced styling, elegant lounges, and a carefully curated celebrity guest list.
Family members shared the spotlight with nineteen celebrity guests, creating unforgettable photo moments and interactions throughout the evening. Fashion-forward yet deeply personal, the celebration honoured the women who formed the heart of the festivities.

Samarpan Samaro
The celebrations culminated with Samarpan Samaro, a Bollywood-inspired reception that brought together music, dance, and entertainment on a spectacular scale. Crystal installations, mirrored surfaces, dramatic stage design, and dazzling lighting transformed the venue into a glamorous awards-night setting.
A grand family sangeet, celebrity appearances by Malaika Arora, Gauahar Khan, Lauren Gottlieb, and Neha Sharma, and a moving tribute to the family’s ancestors created an evening that balanced emotion with entertainment. It was a fitting finale to a celebration that consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity and imagination. Looking back on the journey, Keyur Patel reflects, “This wedding was never about creating grand events simply for scale. Every celebration had its own purpose, emotion, and story. Together, they created an experience that felt deeply personal to the family and unforgettable for everyone who attended.”
