DR HARRY – HAIRY COWS

Dr Harry’s heading to the Southern Highlands of NSW to meet the majestic, fluffy, and completely unforgettable Scottish Highland cows of Minard Farm. For over a decade, owners Michael and Kate have been breeding and showing these handsome ‘hairy coos,’ famous for their sweeping horns, gentle souls, and their signature rockstar fringes.

GRAHAM – PLANT-FILLED APARTMENT

When Jan started sharing his love of indoor plants online, he had no idea how much his content would resonate. Known as the ‘Sydney Plant Guy,’ Jan lives in an apartment in Sydney which is chock full of all the amazing plants he’s grown…putting a whole new spin on the term ‘urban jungle’.

CHARLIE – NEW DESIGN TRENDS

There are some trends that go out of fashion just as quickly as they came in, but others truly do stand the test of time. Charlie’s sharing three of the big trends he saw at this year’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show…and some might surprise you.

JULIET – SUNCATCHERS

Juliet’s sharing a clever idea to make suncatchers using foraged flowers, leaves, and resin. Resin kits are everywhere these days and they’re super simple to use. The finished suncatchers are guaranteed to bring a smile to your day and can be customised with whatever blooms you can find.

PETE – TIPS FOR A STUDIO SPACE

Whether you call it a man cave, a she-shed or a studio space, having your own personalised room at home is a total luxury. So, if you’re lucky enough to have the space for one, what are they key things to consider? Pete’s taking you through his checklist.

COLIN – SLOW-COOKED BEEF CHEEKS WITH COUSCOUS

There’s nothing tastier than slow-cooked beef…except the couscous it’s served with, if you ask Colin. He’s slow-cooking beef-cheeks in a flavoursome broth of red wine, star anise, thyme, and veggies until it’s melt-in-your-mouth tender. The leftover broth is then used to cook the couscous – and it tastes so much better than traditional couscous.

This new episode of Better Homes and Gardens airs tonight, Saturday 20th June, at 7.00pm on Seven and 7plus – check local guides.
