Two of Ariana Grande’s upcoming concerts at Fenway’s TD Garden have been rescheduled, the arena announced Monday.
The Grammy-winning singer and actress is in the midst of her Eternal Sunshine Tour. After completing shows in Los Angeles and Austin, several East Coast dates have been adjusted.
Grande’s Wednesday, July 22 concert has been rescheduled to Thursday, July 23, while her Friday, July 24 show will now take place on Sunday, July 26. The Saturday, July 25, show will go on as originally scheduled, according to social media posts from TD Garden.
The arena said the date changes were made to “ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended.”
“We apologize for any inconvenience,” TD Garden said. “All tickets will be honored with the new dates, and ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional information.”
Grande’s July 12 concert at New York City’s Barclays Center has been moved to July 14, while the venue’s remaining Brooklyn shows will proceed as planned, the venue said on social media.
Grande addressed the changes in a message posted to her Instagram Story Monday afternoon.
“This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention,” she wrote. “The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show it is intended to run.”
Grande concluded the post by thanking her fans.
“I cannot wait to see you,” she added.
