Central Coast Mariners have confirmed 10 players have now officially left the club following the expiration of their playing contracts.
Chief among them is 20-year-old attacker Miguel Di Pizio, who leaves as a Mariners fan favourite having bagged the crucial second goal in the Mariners’ 2023-24 Grand Final win over Melbourne Victory.
The Mariners academy graduate’s striker in extra time not only put his side 2-1 in front, it also saw him become the youngest goalscorer in A-League Grand Final history at 18 years and 141 days old.

Di Pizio was part of the historic treble-winning Mariners side from that same season that clinched the AFC Cup as well as the Isuzu UTE A-League Premiership/Championship double.
Also part of that history-making squad was winger Christian Theoharous, who leaves the club have made 99 appearances for the Mariners.
Signed from Western United in January 2023 by former Central Coast boss Nick Montgomery, Theoharous went on to win back-to-back Championships in Gosford.

The third and final member of the treble-winning squad to depart is defender Nathan Paull.
The central defender featured 18 times in all competitions during the 2023-24 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign under Mark Jackson before establishing himself further in the 2024-25 season, making 23 A-League appearances.

Paull continued his development in the 2025-26 season, captaining the side on multiple occasions and making 17 A-League appearances under Warren Moon.
Paull’s move to Macarthur FC has already been announced.
Departing after one season with the club is James Donachie, who made 21 appearances following his return to the Isuzu UTE A-League and was voted the Macca’s Fans’ Player of the Season after a number of impressive defensive displays.
Sabit Ngor is also on the lookout for a new club, with his exit confirmed following a season where he found the back of the net six times.
Meanwhile, youngsters Nathanael Blair, Will Kennedy and Logan Sambrook have all been released by the club, as have experience Japanese winger Kaito Taniguchi and midfielder Seth Clark.
