Boston 25 News anchor and reporter Rachel Keller announced on social media Tuesday morning that she’ll be leaving the station at the end of next week.
“It has been an honor to serve this community and tell the stories that matter most to New England,” she said in the post. “From breaking news to moments of celebration, I have been privileged to be welcomed into your homes each day.”
Keller, a Pennsylvania native, joined Boston 25 about three years ago. Previously, she worked in TV news in Richmond, Virginia, and Beaumont, Texas, according to her Boston 25 profile.
As for what’s next? Keller said, “Stay tuned!”
“I’m incredibly excited for what’s next and can’t wait to share more with you soon,” she said.
Keller’s news follows two departures from the station’s weather team. Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz left in February after nearly 30 years at Boston 25, and meteorologist Tucker Antico parted ways more recently, according to the Boston Herald.
