Captured through the lens of WeddingSutra Favorite – VS Studio, Tanishqa and Yash’s pre-wedding shoot across Lake Como and Milan unfolded like a quiet European love story steeped in intimacy, elegance, and cinematic charm. Framed by ivy-covered archways, serene lakeside vistas, historic architecture, and softly lit cobbled streets, every photograph carried an effortless sophistication while beautifully reflecting the couple’s natural chemistry.
Sharing their story, Tanishqa recalls, “Yash is actually my best friend’s brother, and that’s how I met him for the first time. We both went to Christ University for our undergraduate studies, although we ended up in different campuses. That’s when we slowly started talking, and over time our bond grew into something much more special.”
Set against the timeless beauty of Lake Como, the shoot embraced a softer, more romantic mood. From sitting hand in hand at the edge of a wooden dock surrounded by still waters and towering autumnal trees to quiet embraces overlooking misty mountains and lakeside villas, the imagery carried a dreamlike stillness. Flowing silhouettes, muted palettes, and the natural landscape came together to create frames that felt poetic yet understated. The photographs captured aboard the boat particularly stood out for their old-world glamour, with the calm waters and historic villas lending an almost cinematic quality to the moments shared between the couple.
In contrast, Milan brought a sharper editorial energy to the shoot. Against grand arches, ornate facades, and iconic European streets, the couple’s styling and chemistry added a contemporary edge to the imagery. Whether strolling through quiet alleyways at night, sharing fleeting glances beneath towering cathedral-like structures, or posing against intricate vintage doors, every frame carried the effortless polish of a luxury fashion editorial while still feeling deeply authentic to them as a couple. The interplay of movement, architecture, and emotion gave the Milan photographs a distinctly modern romanticism.
