Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick were spotted around Cape Cod’s Provincetown over the weekend while in town for the Provincetown International Film Festival.
Joe Coffee Provincetown shared on Facebook Saturday night that the award-winning actors dropped by for a drink, posting a selfie of the couple. The coffee shop is located at 170 Commercial St.
“We hope you loved your cafe mocha and cappuccino today,” the post reads.
The coffee shop did not respond for comment Monday evening.
Bacon and Sedgwick, along with their two children, Sosie and Travis Bacon, were scheduled to attend the film festival Sunday night for a screening of their new horror-comedy, “Family Movie.”
The film, which is not yet available for streaming, marks a rare on-screen collaboration for the family.
Bacon and Sedgwick directed the film while also starring alongside their children. Sosie Bacon is known for her roles in “Smile” and “13 Reasons Why,” and Travis Bacon is a heavy metal music composer.
“Family Movie” follows a filmmaking family whose low-budget production spirals into chaos after a dead body is discovered on set.
Following the screening, Bacon and Sedgwick participated in a Q&A, the Cape Cod Times reported.
“We wanted it to be scary, but we wanted it to be funny and heartwarming,” Sedgwick said during the Q&A. “I think that we thought that it was going to be more of a horror movie than it is, but we wanted to make sure that the kills were fun.”
