Fariha Farrukh is a new viral sensation in Pakistan who has recently started appearing on various establishment- and government-backed digital media and television channels. She has also been seen as a guest on various podcasts. In one of the Uncensored podcasts with Adeel Asif, Fariha Farrukh became famous for saying controversial things like she hates eating traditional Pakistani cuisine and loves having expensive cosmetic procedures. These statements went viral on social media, and people started making memes about her. After going viral, she was seen interviewing Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan, and she also appeared on Naeem Hanif’s podcast at RNN.
Recently, Zorain Nizamani, who is a very competent journalist, analyst, and lawyer, also spoke about Fariha Farrukh and exposed her journalistic abilities and credibility.
Zorain Nizamani said, “A video has been circulating on the social media over the past few days, and unfortunately, it appeared on my feed as well. The person in the video has an impressive résumé—she is a researcher, a geopolitical analyst, and a writer. I read some of her articles, and they were exceptionally well written. I came across one particular article and was amazed. The analytical skills were outstanding, and the English was excellent. While most of us ordinary people barely pay attention to full stops and commas, this writer was even using colons and semicolons flawlessly. Out of curiosity, I pasted the article into an AI tool and asked it to explain the content to me. The AI replied, “I actually wrote this myself.” Since that’s a serious claim, I checked with another AI tool. It also suggested that around 60–70% of the article appeared to be AI-generated and even pointed out the sections that was written by AI” Watch here:
Social media users are praising Zorain Khan Nizamani for exposing host and journalist Fariha Farrukh.
