Khushi Kapoor’s wardrobe has steadily become a reference point for summer dressing. Continuing that fashion narrative, for a store event in Kolkata, Kapoor stepped out in a custom checkered co-ord set from Across29—a slow-fashion, conscious pret label by designer Shruti Sancheti.
The cotton mini skirt featured handwoven Nagpuri checks—a speciality handloom from the Vidarbha region in Maharashtra, which Sancheti belongs to. Detachable fabric belt adorned with whimsical flora and fauna motifs layered the bubble skirt and also brought in some fun, summer elements. The matching bralette and oversized cropped shacket also added to the look’s relaxed feel. Kapoor was also wearing Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low Top Sneakers in a matching palette.
Stylist Manisha Melwani kept it simple with matching stud earrings. For beauty, makeup artist Riviera Lynn went for a clean-girl base with blushed pink cheeks and glossy lips. Her hair, styled by Madhav Trehan, was pulled back into a sleek bun.
