The Scenic Hotel and Worlds Apart Wines are collaborating next month to bring you the Winter Reds Closing Party, and the theme is Après Ski! The Winter Reds Festival is the Adelaide Hills’ biggest winter wine event, and to mark the end of harvest, they’re bringing a retro vibe to The Scenic Hotel where guests are encouraged to dress the part and come donning their best neon ski suits.
Après (French word meaning ‘after’) Ski is all about celebrating the best part of skiing, the end of the day when you come down from the slopes and get to kick off your boots and sit by the fire, a glass of wine in hand, all your worries gone. For one night only, this winter wine party is turning up the heat with a special menu from the hotel’s chef, and plenty of wine tastings – with a focus on those brilliant, full-bodied reds, of course – will be on offer.
Dance the night away with top-tier entertainment courtesy of local sound legends, Skin Contact DJs, and for a modest $25 per person, enjoy watching the sun go down over the stunning Adelaide Hills while tasting the best food from the kitchen team and sipping away on some of the state’s best wines.
Get ready to dust off your 80s ski suits and bring your retro pizzazz to a place where neon and positive vibes radiate through the winter blues and will have you slipping on your dancing boots and jiving to some solid beats.
