A Cape Cod ice cream shop is celebrating 50 years with a 76-cent deal.

Sundae School Homemade Ice Cream will offer small cones or cups for 76 cents on Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. The price is a nod to 1976, the year Sundae School first opened.

The deal will be available at both the Harwich Port and Dennisport locations, while supplies last.

An anniversary celebration will also take place at the Harwich Port shop, located at 606 Main St.

Sundae School has long been part of Cape Cod’s ice cream tradition.

The shop has long been a reader favorite, earning a spot among the best ice cream shops in Massachusetts for 2025, where its Dennisport location is “an education in nostalgia.”

“Reaching 50 years is an incredible milestone for any business,” Peter Gori, general manager of operations, said in a statement. “We are so fortunate to be a part of making lasting memories with our guests every day, all summer long.”

Gori said the celebration is meant to thank the families, visitors, employees, and locals who have made Sundae School part of their Cape Cod summers.

“This celebration is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has stood in line for a scoop, stopped by after the beach, and, of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the thousands of young people who have worked behind the counter and helped make our ice cream,” he said.
