Founded by floral designer Bhavna Mordani, House of Homes has built a signature aesthetic rooted in quiet luxury and intentional design. Trained at the London Flower School and the Institute of Floral Design, India, Bhavna approaches every celebration with a strong sense of storytelling, using florals, texture and colour to create spaces that feel immersive and emotionally resonant.
From intimate gatherings to large-scale brand shoots, the studio’s work balances elegance with individuality. Through these three unique celebrations, House of Homes showcases its ability to translate distinct visions into beautifully layered experiences.
A Floral Editorial for Sonani’s Calendar Shoot
For lab-grown diamond brand Sonani, House of Homes conceptualised twelve distinct floral setups for a calendar shoot themed around blooms. Each set was designed to complement the styling and enhance the brilliance of the jewellery while maintaining a completely unique visual identity.
Working with fresh flowers, handcrafted paper blooms and artificial florals, the team created immersive backdrops rich in texture and scale. One of the standout concepts featured a dramatic red monotone installation layered with roses, hydrangeas and crimson blooms, creating a romantic setting that made the diamonds stand out beautifully.
Another memorable setup revolved around oversized orange paper flowers inspired by a butterfly-themed outfit, lending the shoot a bold editorial quality. The centrepiece installation combined all three floral media into one large-scale composition that brought together depth, colour and texture in a striking way. “We wanted every month to feel like its own floral world,” says Bhavna. “The idea was to create setups that felt artistic and immersive while still allowing the jewellery to remain the hero.”
A Luxurious Red Themed Grazing Table for The Della Group
When The Della Group approached House of Homes for an intimate private gathering, the brief centred around creating a luxurious red-themed grazing table that felt warm, elegant and visually impactful. The styling featured fresh roses and anthuriums layered across the tablescape, paired with red acrylic candles that added a soft ambient glow to the evening. Rich tones, varied floral heights and carefully balanced textures gave the setup depth while preserving the intimacy of the gathering.
“The beauty of intimate celebrations lies in creating something luxurious without losing warmth,” shares Bhavna. “We wanted the table to feel elevated yet inviting at the same time.”
The final setup struck that balance effortlessly, transforming the gathering into an experience that felt both editorial and deeply personal.
An Elegant All-White Pre-Wedding Celebration
For an intimate pre-wedding soirée hosted by a prominent businesswoman, House of Homes designed an all-white floral celebration centred around understated luxury and timeless elegance.
Using anthuriums, hydrangeas and chrysanthemums, the team created a cohesive floral story that flowed through every corner of the celebration. Guests were welcomed through a lush floral entrance, while table arrangements, candlelit accents and floral detailing across the venue added warmth and softness to the monochromatic palette. Decorative bird cages introduced a whimsical touch to the otherwise refined aesthetic, while layered floral textures ensured the all-white setting felt rich and dimensional rather than minimal.
“With white florals, texture becomes everything,” says Bhavna. “Each flower brings a different quality to the arrangement, and that layering is what gives the décor depth and character.” The result was an elegant and immersive celebration that felt intimate, thoughtful and effortlessly luxurious.
