Naeem Hanif is a senior Pakistani journalist and anchor who has worked for popular channels like Samaa TV. Nowadays, he hosts a podcast on RNN News, where he fearlessly exposes top Pakistani celebrities. The anchor recently spoke about renowned Pakistani photographer Irfan Ahson, who is admired for his wedding photoshoots.
In his recent podcast on RNN News, Naeem Hanif shared a sad incident involving famous Pakistani photographer Irfan Ahson.
Naeem Hanif said, “I got a phone call from the renowned Pakistani journalist Sami Ibrahim, who told me that his close relative had booked Irfan Ahson for his daughter’s wedding. The bride herself had requested her father to hire the ‘Jaati Umraan photographer’ Irfan Ahson. The bride’s father paid around 15 lakh rupees in advance, but unfortunately, the bride passed away on December 5, while the wedding was scheduled for December 25. She was the only daughter, so the wedding was obviously cancelled, and all the bridal services were called off by the family. The bride’s father contacted Irfan Ahson, the Presidential Award winner, and requested him to deduct his fee and return the remaining amount since the bride had passed away. However, the photographer replied that they do not have a refund policy and suggested adjusting the booking to another event. Now, what were they supposed to do? They had lost their only daughter; they obviously were not going to arrange a graveyard photoshoot. This happened with one of Pakistan’s elite photographers, who became arrogant after working with rich families.”
Naeem further claimed that Irfan Ahson personally told him as well that the money could not be returned and could only be adjusted for another event. Watch here.
