Patriots heading back to Germany: The NFL schedule release is set to take place on Thursday at 8 p.m., but one of the Patriots‘ 2026 slate of away games is already known because it will take place overseas.

In a release on Wednesday morning, the league revealed its schedule of international games. This includes a Week 10 Patriots-Lions matchup in Munich, Germany on Nov. 15. Kickoff will happen at 9:30 a.m., with New England officially listed as the road team. The game will be played at the Allianz Arena, home to German soccer powerhouse Bayern Munich.

It will be the second time the Patriots have played a regular season game in Germany. The first was a moment to forget for New England fans, coming in a 10-6 loss to the Colts in 2023. In retrospect, it was clearly a sign that the end was near for Bill Belichick’s tenure with the Patriots.

The most recent Patriots international game was in 2024, when New England lost 32-16 to the Jaguars in London. Overall, the Patriots are 3-2 in team history in regular season games played outside the United States.

Highlights from a Legacy win: After starting their first season in NWSL with five straight defeats, the Legacy are now on a four-game unbeaten run (rallying to defeat Orlando on Tuesday).

On this day: In 2013, the Bruins pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in team history against the Maple Leafs in Game 7 of their quarter-final series, scoring three third period goals to tie the game 4-4 heading into overtime. And in the extra period, Patrice Bergeron scored a dramatic winner to clinch the series (Dave Goucher’s radio call of the goal remains iconic).

Daily highlight: Montreal goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens stacked the pads to make a fantastic save in the Victoire’s eventual 2-1 PWHL semi-final win over the Minnesota Frost.
