Two years after Kevin Hart emceed “The Roast of Tom Brady,” the legendary former Patriots quarterback made a surprise appearance to land some jokes of his own.
Brady made a brief appearance at “The Roast of Kevin Hart,” which is now on Netflix.
Shortly after Hart made fun of Brady’s facial expressions and challenged the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback to say what ever he wanted to say, Brady appeared on-stage with a microphone.
“Jesus, do you ever shut the [expletive] up?” Brady asked. “Have you even left the [Kia] Forum or have you been screaming into that mic the last two years waiting for daddy to come home?
“Unlike your real dad, I actually showed up,” Brady said.
Hart is a Philadelphia native and an avid Philly sports fans. So after the Knicks swept the 76ers in the second-round of the NBA playoffs, Brady gave the comedian a kid-sized blue-and-orange Jalen Brunson jersey.
“That’s newborn-sized,” Brady said, referencing Hart’s shorter stature. “Does that fit you?”
There were plenty of jokes about Hart’s height throughout the special.

During “The Roast of Tom Brady,” Hart joked several times about the dynamics between Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
Hart joked that she attended the Brady Roast as “Antonio Brown’s plus-one” and that Brady had sacrificed the relationship just to go 8-9 in his final season with Tampa Bay.
Brady responded by poking fun at Hart’s 2017 Las Vegas cheating scandal.
“This won’t take long because as you guys know I am a busy man,” said Brady, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. “But I do have a few words before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas. Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule.”
Brady couldn’t resist comparing his football resume to Hart’s accomplishments in comedy and acting. He joked that he had “never seen anyone drop the ball” the way Hart did with his roast.
“How did the GOAT roast go from me to you? I won seven Super Bowls, Kevin has been in two Ride Along movies,” Brady said. “I’ve won five Super Bowl MVP awards. Kevin, you’re the third most famous person in Jumanji. It was a good movie, though.”
Brady roasted the other roasters and closed his remarks with his catchphrase LFG.
“Payback is a [expletive] and so are you, Kevin Hart,” Brady said. “Let’s [expletive go.”
