The Sindh government has announced advance payment of salaries, allowances, and pensions for Muslim government employees and pensioners ahead of Eid ul Adha.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Finance Department, full pay, allowances, and pensions for May 2026 will be released on May 20 instead of June 1.
The advance payment will apply to all Muslim employees and pensioners of the provincial government, including work charged and contingent paid staff.
The notification stated that the decision was taken in view of Eid ul Adha, which is expected to fall on May 27 or May 28, subject to moon sighting.
