A “whimsical” Dr. Seuss themed photo booth pop up is arriving in downtown Boston on Friday, just in time for graduation season.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises is adding a “highly visual” photo booth that paints homage to the picture-book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” the Boston Calendar announced.

“Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” is a poem-like book telling the story of a young person and all the places they will go. It is particularly popular during graduation due to its wisdom about life itself and growing up.

“Dr. Seuss’s timeless classic “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”  has remained a staple during graduation season for more than three decades, speaking to the excitement and uncertainty that come with life’s big transitions, while using Dr. Seuss’s trademark humorous verse and illustrations,” the Boston Calendar said.

The photo booth will be at the Rose Kennedy Greenway along the Freedom Trail, just near the North Canal Fountain, the website said.

The creators invite “graduates, families, and tourists to step into a colorful, Seussian scene celebrating new beginnings and next chapters” to use the booth, the calendar said.

The photo booth is free and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Boston Calendar said.
