Paramount Australia merges sales teams as GRANT MADIGAN starts new role

A new commercial structure is taking shape at Paramount Australia, with Grant Madigan stepping into a senior sales leadership role as the company combines its linear and digital sales operations under one team.

The move follows the departure of longtime sales boss Rod Prosser earlier this year, ending his 15 year run with the business and paving the way for Paramount’s newly unified sales approach.

The restructure also reflects broader industry moves toward simplified sales models, with broadcasters increasingly aligning streaming and traditional TV offerings under single commercial teams.

Paramount Australia has unified its linear and digital television offering under a single sales proposition, with Grant Madigan commencing as Vice President, Sales to lead a team purpose-built for converged selling.

Grant assumes responsibility for the Australian sales function and reports directly to Lee Sears, President, International Markets Advertising Sales, Paramount Global.

Lee Sears, President, International Markets Advertising Sales, Paramount, said:

“Bringing together our linear and digital capabilities under a single, cohesive sales team is the right move for our partners and the right move for the market.”

“Grant is exactly the leader we need to drive that agenda in Australia, commercially sharp, deeply connected to the industry, and focused on delivering outcomes that matter to advertisers.”
