Honor has quietly launched the Honor Play 70C in China as a new budget smartphone in its Play series lineup. The company also recently introduced the Play 80 Plus, which features a 7,500mAh battery and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor.
Design and Display
The Honor Play 70C features a 6.75-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is available in Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver color options.
Internals and Software
The MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra octa-core chipset powers the smartphone. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
The device runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. For connectivity, the Play 70C supports dual SIM 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Cameras
The Honor Play 70C includes a single 13MP rear camera that supports up to 10x digital zoom and 1080p video recording.
On the front, the device features a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone packs a 5,300 mAh battery.
Pricing starts at $90 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The 4GB + 128GB version is priced at $105, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs $115.
