Ski Dubai will stage the seventh edition of the DXB Snow Run on Sunday, held inside the indoor slope at -4°C on May 17, in partnership with Dubai Sports Council.
Organisers say the run is part of the UAE’s Year of Family theme, with the event designed to bring friends, families and communities together through sport and fitness.
The race is open to male and female runners aged 13 and above. Entrants can choose between two distances: 3km, which covers three loops, or 5km, which covers five. People can enter on their own or as part of a five-person team.
Registration is open until May 14 through PremierOnline. Entry costs AED 120 for the 3km individual race, AED 150 for the 5km individual race, and AED 110 per person for team entries.
Every finisher will receive a medal, while the top three in each category will be awarded prizes.
A new addition this year is a spectator pass, priced at AED 50. It will allow family and friends to watch from a dedicated area inside the snowy venue and includes a complimentary hot drink.
Last year’s event drew 700 runners from 70 nationalities, the highest turnout in the event’s history. Organisers will hope for another strong showing when the race returns next month.
