As players Alex Eala and Iga Swiatek trained on court, three men preparing equipment for a separate broadcast were captured chatting about the 65-year-old former Countdown presenter.

The men were heard speculating that Ms Vorderman had undergone cosmetic surgery on her posterior, a claim the presenter has consistently rejected, instead crediting her figure to completing more than 20,000 squats each year.
One crew member was recorded saying: “She’s come out and says that she’s in like an open relationship with five or six guys.”
“With five or six guys?” came the surprised response from a colleague, followed by another adding: “Good girl. Wow.”

The conversation also included a tasteless remark concerning sexually transmitted infections.
At another point, one man admitted: “I follow her on Instagram, because she’s from Southampton,” prompting a colleague to call him “such a stalker.”
According to reports, none of the three individuals captured on the recording have any connection to the Women’s Tennis Association.

Staff working at the venue have subsequently been issued reminders about their professional responsibilities and broadcast protocols.
The WTA Tour is currently taking place in Stuttgart, with former world number one Swiatek among the headline competitors.
Broadcasting duties for the tournament are handled by WTA Media, the official broadcast partner of the women’s tour.
However, the practice session streams shown on the event’s website are managed separately from the main tournament coverage.

Ms Vorderman has been open about her approach to romance in recent years, describing her system of “special friends” that she has maintained for a decade.
“Half of first marriages end in divorce, and nearly three quarters of second marriages end in divorce. So I prefer to live my life in chapters,” she stated in 2023.
