The production of Date A Live F Last Date, the latest and seemingly final anime in the Date A Live franchise, has been announced with a visual of Tohka Yatogami. This comes after a new Date A Live project was teased last April.
Junji Nishimura (The Fire Hunter) is directing the new anime at Fugaku.

The Date A Live anime are based on the KADOKAWA-published light novel series written by Koshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. Yen Press describes the first volume as such:
April 10. The first day of school. Shido Itsuka is rudely awoken by his personal alarm clock—his little sister. It’s shaping up to be another typical day…well, as typical as it gets on a planet plagued by massive spatial quakes. Little does Shido know, however, his life is about to take a sudden turn when he encounters the source of this destructive phenomenon—a girl his age, apparently known as a Spirit. Turns out, there are only two ways he can stop her from unleashing hell on the world: Eliminate her by force or placate her…by taking her out on a date and making her fall in love with him!
The first Date A Live TV anime began airing in 2013. The next four seasons debuted in 2014, 2019, 2022, and 2024. A Date A Live anime movie premiered in 2015, while a two-part OVA adaptation of the Date A Bullet spin-off was released in 2020.
The print media side includes spin-offs, manga, and short story anthologies in addition to the main entries. There are 22 main volumes and 11 anthologies in the light novel series, which is published under the Fantasia Bunko label/imprint, as of 2022.
