An Australian man has died after being found on a hotel balcony in Bali.
The 30-year-old, identified by local police by the initials JRTC, was found in distress on a second-floor balcony at a hotel in the beach resort area of Seminyak about 4.15am on Wednesday.
He was still breathing and able to speak when his 22-year-old girlfriend, identified by local media as JGA, found him.

He was rushed to Siloam Hospital in an unconscious state, before being pronounced dead about 8.10am local time.
Local police said the couple had returned to the hotel about 1.30am after a night out at a bar, and believed JRTC was in “an intoxicated state”.
They had an argument after arriving back at the hotel, and JRTC went to sleep on a daybed on the balcony.
When his girlfriend woke during the night, she found him on the balcony and alerted hotel staff, who called emergency services.
“Officers are still conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of death,” police said.
