The Congress has convened a meeting of its top decision-making body, the Congress Working Committee (CWC), on Friday (April 10, 2026) to deliberate on the Centre’s move to amend the women’s reservation law, the proposed delimitation exercise, and developments in West Asia.
The meeting will be held at 3 p.m. at the party’s Indira Bhawan headquarters and is expected to be attended by senior leaders. The CWC will discuss the political and constitutional implications of the proposed changes, including the planned delimitation of parliamentary constituencies.
