Recently, she appeared on Good Morning Pakistan while promoting her drama series Mirza Ki Heer. On the show, she discussed why she prefers minimal or no makeup.
Talking about it, Hina Afridi said, “My character Heer uses only tint or mascara. I tried using makeup on my skin, but there are certain people who look horrible with it — I am one of them. Also, my mother never let me wear makeup. I have tried makeup for camera, but it didn’t suit me. I play with tint, liner, and mascara. Also, I rarely get facials and don’t even use concealer. Nowadays, there’s no trend for heavy makeup; girls look good with minimal makeup.
