Donald Trump Issues Profanity-Laced Final Warning to Iran

US President Donald Trump on Sunday stirred fresh controversy after posting an unusually aggressive message against Iran on his social media platform Truth Social.

In the post, Trump wrote: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

The statement quickly spread across social media and political circles. Most viewers on X were taken aback by the US President’s confrontational tone toward Iran in this post.

Everyone understood that Trump’s comments were aimed at the Strait of Hormuz through which roughly a fifth of the world’s oil supply passes. Some X posters commented that Iran’s current blockade there has psychologically impacted the US President and his team.

Tensions between Washington and Tehran have remained high since February 2026 following disputes over sanctions, nuclear activity, and maritime security in the Gulf.

Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that pressure on its economy or military actions will trigger responses affecting shipping lanes in the Gulf. Trump has so far refused to acknowledge Iran’s warnings.

Energy traders and geopolitical analysts closely monitor such comments on X because even verbal escalations can push oil prices higher and unsettle markets.

Neither US officials nor Iranian authorities immediately issued formal responses to the post, but Tehran’s embassies in several countries shared Trump’s post, calling out his bias and the use of explicit language against a sovereign nation like Iran.
