The upcoming second season of Farming Life in Another World reveals its key visual, new trailer, and cast ahead of its April 6 premiere date. The announcement was made during AnimeJapan 2026 at the PONY CANYON booth special stage. The new visual features both current and new cast around a table to eat a hotpot.

The new cast joining are as follows:

The Farming Life in Another World anime adaptation ran from January 2023 to March 2023 with a total of 12 episodes. The second season was first announced in August 2025.
Furthermore, there will be a speical program for the series at Anime Boston 2026. The program includes a premiere of the second season ahead of its premiere date and a Q&A with special guests, producer Hiromi Sueta and Atsushi Abe, the voice of Hikaru Machio. The program will take place on April 4 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, Constitution B Ballroom.
There will also be a panel for Farming Life in Another World 2 Dub featuring Blake Shepard and Monica Rial, the voice of Hikaru and Tia respectively. The panel will also take place on April 4 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, Constitution A Ballroom.
The anime adaptation is based on the original light novel series by Kinosuke Naito and Yasumo. It made its debut as a web novel on Shoetsuka ni Naro in 2026 before turning into a light novel series in 2017 under KADOKAWA. As of March 2026, the series has published 20 volumes. The series has inspired a manga adaptation by Yasuyuki Tsurugi.
The first season of Farming Life in Another World is currently streaming on HiDive. One Peace Books has licensed and is publishing the manga adaptation in English. The synopsis of the first volume of the manga is described as:
After Hiraku dies of a serious illness, God brings him back to life, gives his health and youth back, and sends him to a fantasy world of his choice. In order to enjoy his second shot, God bestows upon him the almighty farming tool! Watch as Hiraku digs, chops, and plows in another world in this laidback farming fantasy!
