The venture positions itself as one of Australia’s first dedicated premium vertical slates, combining short form social storytelling with more structured narrative arcs across both scripted and unscripted formats.

Launching across Meta platforms, the model delivers daily episodes under 90 seconds, with a “drip fed” release cadence aimed at building habitual viewing and ongoing audience engagement.
Ellen Dedes-Vallas, Founder of Fat Poodle and Co-Founder Creative Director of Dripfed.TV, said the move reflects changing audience habits rather than a simple format shift, noting the team has spent years producing social first campaigns and premium short form content.
“We’ve spent the past 8 years producing high performing social first campaigns, and premium short-form work for brands and streamers,” Dedes-Vallas said.
“What became clear is that younger audiences are already consuming narrative in vertical bite sized formats.”
The launch slate includes Link in Bio: Inside Australia’s Adult Industry, a 30 part unscripted docuseries exploring the realities behind the country’s online creator economy, followed by scripted drama Snake Bite, shot natively in vertical format with a local cast.
Co-Founder and Managing Director Alexander Di Meglio said the model offers a faster pathway for developing and testing IP, while opening the door to integrated brand partnerships.
“Traditional commissioning cycles can take years.”
“This model allows us to release IP directly to audiences, build engagement in real time and create meaningful commercial partnerships as the slate grows.”
With production timelines as short as four to six weeks and stories shaped by real time audience response, Dripfed.TV is aiming to blur the line between traditional TV storytelling and the fast moving world of social feeds.
