10 News presenter Narelda Jacobs is heading back to Perth as the network shifts its weekend bulletin closer to home, marking a step toward local presentation with a familiar face returning to the desk.
Jacobs replaces Georgie Tunny, who presented a separate Perth bulletin after the national edition, with TV Blackbox understanding sport and weather will remain Sydney based for now, while the bulletin continues to be fully controlled remotely from interstate.
For Jacobs, it marks a homecoming after years on the same desk presenting Perth’s weeknight news, followed by several years in national roles for the network on Studio 10 and 10 News Lunchtime from Sydney.
