According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the anthem reflects the league’s 10-year journey as it expands to eight teams for the first time.

The PCB stated that the PSL has grown into a national passion, with the anthem telling the story of a tournament that now “runs through the veins of a whole generation.” It also highlights Pakistan’s deep connection with cricket, emphasizing how the sport continues to dominate the hearts of millions across the country.

PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer said the anthem represents the league’s growth and future direction.

“The HBL PSL has always stood for world-class cricket, unforgettable entertainment and the incredible passion of our fans,” he said.

He further noted that the PSL Season 11 highlights a confident and dynamic phase aimed at inspiring a new generation of players and fans.

Following its release, the anthem quickly gained attention across social media platforms, with fans actively sharing their opinions. Many listeners praised the return of Atif Aslam and the blend of established and emerging artists, calling it a strong representation of PSL’s evolving identity.

However, as with previous PSL anthems, reactions were mixed. Some fans appreciated the energy and modern style of the song, while others compared it to earlier anthems and expressed divided views on its overall impact.

Since its launch in 2016, the PSL has become a major annual event, bringing the nation together to celebrate what the board described as a “world-class cricketing extravaganza.”
