He is known for his witty style of analyzing news and he subtly says what is on his mind despite heavy censorship on news channels. He was married before but his wife passed away. He later got married to former actress Sama Raj.
Irshad Bhatti appeared on an Eid show alongside his new wife and they both opened up about finding love and solace in each other. Irshad recalled his love for his first wife and said that burying your love is the biggest loss a man can experience. It was a very dark phase of his life when he lost his first wife.
