Adelaide weather forecast for Monday March 23rd and the days ahead

Adelaide will experience mostly sunny days initially this week, before we shift into potential showers and mild cooling midweek, culminating in a cooler and cloudy ending.

Starting today, Adelaide enjoys a bright sun with a high of 31°C, accompanied by breezes shifting from easterly to northeasterly. The rest of the city, including Elizabeth and Mount Barker, will see temperatures peaking at 33°C and 31°C respectively. Meanwhile, coastal areas like Glenelg and Noarlunga will experience slightly cooler conditions at 29°C.

As we roll into Tuesday, the city will continue to bask in sunshine with calm winds early, shifting to a westerly flow around midday. Temperatures will hold steady with a minimum at dawn of 21°C and a daytime high again at 31°C.

On Wednesday, things begin to take a turn. Expect partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers and a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon. Temperatures will dip with a high of only 27°C. Winds will shift from light to a stronger southwesterly gust during the day.

The cool trend continues into Thursday. The skies will remain mostly cloudy with a high of only 20°C, and southerly winds maintaining a brisk pace.

Heading into the weekend, Friday will stay cloudy with southeast to easterly winds and a high of 19°C. By Saturday and Sunday, the clouds will partly clear but conditions remain cooler than earlier in the week, with highs of 22°C and 24°C respectively.
