Circus-themed original anime Grow Up Show has received its first trailer, a key visual, and a July 2026 broadcast start date. Its cast, as well as more staff credits, were also revealed.
Tomoka Noda is voicing Mizuka Tsurumaki, a girl who finds herself with the Himawari Circus after collapsing by the road. Leading that circus is Rie Kugimiya‘s Maria.

The other cast members are Shiori Kurosaki as flyer Oka Kawasumi, Reo Osanai as illusionist Imari Ogano, Nanako Ando as acrobat Isuka Ikazuchi, Tomori Kusunoki as acrobat Aoi Yura, Yuko Natsuyoshi as acrobat Akane Yura, Yuna Kamakura as catcher Shizuku Sakawa, Yuka Iwahashi as aeria silk performer Svetlana, and Ai Kayano as the circus’ accountant Rin Mamiya.
For the staff, the new reveals include:
• Character designer and chief animation director: Kazutoshi Makino
• Assistant director: Satsuki Takahashi
• Action supervisor: Masaki Inada (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a CG action supervisor and Blender supervisor)
• Picture book designer and effects designer: Ayane Matsumoto (Hyakusho Kizoku-the farmer’s days character designer, animation director, and animator)
• Time period research: Junko Yamada
• Image board artist: illustrator Munashichi
Grow Up Show (Grow Up Show ~Himawari no Circus-dan) was announced last July. Kanta Kamei (director of the Saekano -How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend series and chief director of the Saekano movie) is directing the anime with Takeshi Kikuchi (Skeleton Knight in Another World) as series composer and scriptwriter and Kurehito Misaki (Saekano light novels’ illustrator) as original character designer. The project is produced by A-1 Pictures and its new Psyde Kick Studio label.
