The Killed Again, Mr. Detective? TV anime is set to begin airing on April 2 (effectively April 3 at 1:58 JST). A main trailer and key visual were also released.
It was also announced that the opening song is “Stardust Eureka” by Multidimensional Control Mechanism YODAKA.

Killed Again, Mr. Detective? (Mata Korosareteshimatta no desune, Tantei-sama) is based the light novel series written by Teniwoha and illustrated by Riichu. There is a manga by Inaba as well, which Yen Press describes as such:
Sakuya Outsuki is the son of a legendary detective, striving to follow in his father’s footsteps with the help of his assistant, Lilithea. This isn’t your average high-school sleuth, though-because he comes back to life every time he’s killed! Being a little too familiar with death and always awakening to Lilithea by his side, Sakuya’s happy to take on low-risk cases. Surely investigating a movie producer’s affair on a luxury cruise ship won’t pose any real threat! But when the duo ends up entangled in a larger and bloodier situation, Sakuya will have to get to the bottom of the mystery…and die trying!
The light novel series debuted in August 2021 and has six volumes as of November 2025. It is published under KADOKAWA’s MF Bunko J label.
