MotoGP Adelaide ticket registrations now open for 2027 street race

With Adelaide newly announced to be hosting the MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia from 2027, this is the first time for fans to get their hands on tickets, as registrations are now open for the highly anticipated race at the Adelaide Street Circuit in 2027.

From today, locals can jump online and register their interest in attending the event, with options including general admission, grandstand seating, and premium hospitality experiences. Those who sign up will be first in line to hear when tickets go on sale, along with exclusive updates as the countdown to race day ramps up.

The launch is another major step in South Australia’s successful bid to bring MotoGP to the city, bringing international racing back to the iconic Adelaide street circuit, and, in a world-first, hosting a MotoGP race on a street circuit.

To help build momentum, new digital platforms have also gone live, giving fans a place to follow announcements, behind-the-scenes updates and event news as it unfolds.

The ticket announcement comes hot on the heels of plans for a limited run of 500 commemorative MotoGP Adelaide licence plates, a nod to the original Grand Prix plates released in 1985. Like their Formula 1 predecessors, now highly sought-after collector’s items, the new plates are expected to generate serious interest when they go to auction.

“MotoGP™ on the Adelaide Street Circuit will deliver enormous economic benefits for South Australia – filling our hotels, restaurants, bars and businesses with visitors from across Australia and around the world. And now South Australians have their chance to be there from the start,” shared Premier Peter Malinauskas.

“Registering interest in tickets is the first step in what will be a huge moment for our state as international motorsport returns to the streets of Adelaide.

“South Australians have fond memories and a sense of pride about the Formula 1 Grand Prix, and we’re aiming to capture that spirit when MotoGP™ moves to Adelaide next year.”

Globally, MotoGP continues to rise in popularity, boasting a fanbase of more than 630 million people and record-breaking attendance figures. In 2025 alone, events delivered an average economic impact of $217 million to host cities, driven by tourism, hospitality and global exposure.

With the 2026 MotoGP World Championship spanning 22 races across 18 countries, Adelaide’s inclusion signals a major return to the international stage.

For fans eager to be part of it, now’s the time to get in early!
