Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and their five children have left Saudi Arabia for Spain, with reports indicating the family has no definite plans to return to the Gulf state.
The group has been residing at the couple’s property in Madrid’s prestigious La Finca district since departing the Middle East earlier this month.
According to the Spanish publication Vanitatis, those close to Rodriguez, who originally hails from the Spanish capital, say she remains uncertain about when the family might return to Riyadh.
The return date has reportedly not been fixed and is not dependent on the children’s school timetable.
Rodriguez and the children departed Saudi Arabia on March 3 aboard the family’s private jet.
The Portuguese footballer subsequently joined them at their Spanish residence.
Their exit from the region came as the children’s spring school break was moved forward owing to the ongoing conflict in the area.
Vanitatis reported that the couple took the decision to leave in order to preserve some sense of routine for their youngsters during the worsening situation.

While the report suggests Ronaldo did not believe his family faced direct danger, he was understood to have experienced discomfort about the circumstances and wished to shield his children from the crisis.
Conflicting accounts have emerged regarding the true motivation behind Ronaldo’s departure from the Middle East.
Some suggest his recovery from a hamstring problem is the primary factor rather than regional tensions.
The 41-year-old sustained the injury during Al-Nassr’s fixture against Al-Fayha towards the end of February.

The club’s official position is that he travelled to Spain to focus on regaining fitness through specialist treatment with a private physiotherapist.
Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus has addressed the situation.
He said: “Cristiano’s injury is more serious than we first thought.
“He will travel to Spain to receive treatment with a personal therapist, as many players do. We hope he returns soon and can help the team.”

Rodriguez’s presence in Madrid conveniently aligns with her commitments at Madrid Fashion Week this week.
Although Ronaldo is expected to resume training with Al-Nassr once he recovers from his injury, whether his fiancée and their children will accompany him back to Saudi Arabia after Fashion Week concludes remains an open question.
The timing of his rehabilitation carries added significance given this summer’s 2026 World Cup.
The tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico represents what many believe will be Ronaldo’s final opportunity to feature for Portugal on football’s grandest stage, with widespread expectation that the legendary forward will retire following its conclusion.
