Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana has been named among the ICC Player of the Month nominees for February 2026 following a series of influential all-round displays against South Africa.
Despite Pakistan losing both the ODI and T20I series 2-1, Fatima Sana consistently delivered with bat and ball. Her standout effort came in the opening T20I, where she struck a commanding 90.
She then capped the series with another match-winning contribution in the third T20I, scoring an unbeaten 47 and returning figures of 2 for 12, a performance that earned her the Player of the Match award.

Fatima Sana also made her presence felt in the ODI series, compiling a vital 52 in the second match while picking up two key wickets.
Overall, she finished the tour with four wickets in the ODI series and two more in the T20Is, underlining her value as Pakistan’s premier all-rounder.
On the men’s side, Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan is also in the running after a historic ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign.
Sahibzada Farhan topped the tournament’s run charts with 383 runs, setting a new record for the most runs in a single edition while scoring at 160.25 and averaging 76.60. He is joined by England’s Will Jacks and USA’s fast bowler Shadley van Schalkwyk.
