A Perfect Circle announce first Australian tour in over a decade, kicking off in Adelaide

Alt-rock heavyweights A Perfect Circle have confirmed their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand, kicking off the tour with a major show at The Drive in Adelaide this December.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour marks the band’s first visit to Australia since 2013 and their first time in New Zealand in more than two decades. Joining them on the road will be electro-rock outfit Puscifer, also fronted by Maynard James Keenan.

Formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan, A Perfect Circle have built a global following with their atmospheric alternative rock sound and acclaimed live performances. Their debut album Mer de Noms (2000) became the highest-charting debut rock album at the time, featuring standout tracks including “Judith” and “3 Libras”.

Across their career, the band has released four studio albums: Mer de Noms (2000), Thirteenth Step (2003), eMOTIVe (2004), and Eat the Elephant (2018), which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

Known for their cinematic live shows, the band has headlined major festivals around the world and sold out iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Hollywood Bowl.

Joining the tour is Puscifer, the genre-blending project featuring Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round. The band is known for their theatrical live performances and unique mix of dark electronic textures, post-punk atmospheres, and visual storytelling.

Puscifer recently released their latest album Normal Isn’t, continuing a run of acclaimed releases that regularly land in the top 30 of the Billboard 200. The group has also appeared at major festivals including Coachella and Bonnaroo and even curated their own touring festival, Sessanta.

The Australian and New Zealand run will begin in Adelaide before heading to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.
